Learning From My Betting Mistakes
I have been gambling on the net or at brick and mortar gambling halls for many years. I have determined, the addiction can acquire a hold of you and you won’t even see it until you are beaten. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through uncounted thousands of dollars in just a tiny period of time and even today, I sometimes go a bit too long. It seems you are just having sum excitement till you make a choice to track your loss and the blame settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I am able to gain the money back" a number of times. It does not work. Then you get queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the quicker you give away.
When you discover that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to relinquish, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" a number of times, believe me, this plan barely ever works. Say you plan on gambling on one armed bandits, have a pot set aside before starting your action. DON’T go over that limit, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to earn, put the winnings in a different pot. Do not risk your payouts no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it is on the net or at a real life gambling den, don’t stick around. Always remember, there no doubt will be another day, another time. Obviously, this method usually will function for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, twenty-one or any other game.
Remember, wagering should be enjoyable not burdensome, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If you cannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
